BBC — LIVE THE STORY

An integrated campaign built on a simple truth: unlike many global news networks, BBC World News journalists live where they report from.

To express this, the work focused on the personal notes and possessions journalists carry with them, objects tied directly to the stories they cover. The films gave audiences a sense of what it means to truly live a news story, not just report on it.

The spots were shot by Kyle Cooper, the mastermind behind the iconic intro titles of Se7en, and ran in over 30 countries.


Our press ads contained the actual handwritten notes from the journalists:


We also created an interactive experience where users could flip through digital versions of the journalists' notebooks, listen to their original voice notes, and browse through their photographs, immersing themselves in the world of the reporters.
