An animated portrait of Gustavo Kopit playfully cycles through collages that seamlessly blend his face with a diverse array of historical artworks.

Started out in Brazil, making ads with more heart than budget.

Then came London. Long nights, short deadlines, sketchy kebabs.

Cut my teeth at places that cared about the craft, back when we still printed decks and argued about kerning.

Eventually landed in California. Sun, mild earthquakes, and way too many almond milk options. Worked with some of the best: Wieden+Kennedy, Google Brand Studio, CP+B, 72andSunny. Did a stint as Global CD for Apple Social , which was wild.

Picked up a BAFTA and a few other shiny trinkets along the way. Impostor syndrome’s still here, wearing skinny jeans and pretending it’s ironic.

Currently leading work at YouTube Creative Studio, surrounded by smart people and at least three types of sparkling water.

On the side: co-founded a startup for adventurers, invested in the first gaming-themed pizza joint in Latin America, and launched a lo-fi jazz album. What can I say, I like experiments.
